CGB / Product guides
Your logo has a new surface.
A tote, tumbler and pen do not offer the same space. Plan the imprint around the selected product.
Check the usable area
Use the product’s imprint dimensions rather than its overall size. Decide what needs to be visible first: the brand name, a symbol, a short message or a QR code. A small imprint area can call for a simpler version of the artwork.
Compare the logo with the product color
A design can read differently on a white tumbler, a dark lanyard or a natural-material tote. Review the selected product color alongside the available imprint colors and method. Ask about a specific PMS color or full-color design before treating it as available for every item.
Start with the source artwork
Supply an AI or EPS vector file where possible. If you have a raster image, use the highest-resolution original available. Enlarging a small image does not recover the missing detail. Our artwork and printing guide sets out accepted formats and recommended resolution, text and line sizes.
Make approval a separate step
Check spelling, layout, scale, location and colors on the proof. Test any QR code and confirm its destination. Review the disclaimers supplied with the proof before approving it; rush production may waive that approval step.
Discuss your artwork with CGB or return to all product guides.
